About Me

I am a Maryland and Florida licensed LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical) and CHT (Certified Hypnotherapist) with advanced certifications in clinical hypnotherapy, EMDR therapy and sex therapy (in Florida). I am an ASSECT certified Sex Therapist which is a nationally recognized certification for sex therapy.

I possess more than twenty-five years of experience counseling adults, couples, and children. Well-versed in numerous therapies, including trauma therapies, hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), group therapy, and providing psychoeducational workshops. 

In addition to being a therapist, I am a teacher and hypnotherapy supervisor for fellow therapists. I have also worked extensively as a counselor for the United States Department of Defense.

Memberships: American Association of Sexuality Educators Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), American Society for Clinical Hypnosis, National Association of Social Workers, Heart-Centered Therapies Association, and The EMDR International Association.
